Experience a Horseback Safari from Johannesburg.

What better and unique way to view animals and nature up close while riding on a horse. This is different from the usual safaris. Where other people prefer to ride on the back of a vehicle and view wildlife, on this tour you will change the vehicle for a different mode of viewing. View various antelope and see the South African bush from another perspective. The Magaliesberg Mountains provide some truly magnificent bushveld areas. Get up close to Giraffe, Blesbuck, Sable, Impala, Nyala and even Ostrich. Your guide will take you on a very leisurely stroll on a trail through the nature reserve. This is a relaxing and great way that is often overlooked when game viewing. There is no sound of vehicles, only the sound of your horse's hooves. Then on to another ride, this time a cable car. One of the best views of the Magaliesberg mountains and the Hartebeestpoortdam can be seen from the top. Hartebeestpoortdam was built in 1923, has a shoreline of about 50 km and is one of the most famous attractions for people visiting Johannesburg. The cable car has the record of the longest monorail cableway in Africa.
